Our Funders

The Maine Council on Aging has grown out of the support of our funders throughout the state of Maine and Northern New England. We are grateful for their leadership and support of our work to help us move toward our vision of a Maine where we live healthy, engaged, and secure lives with choices and opportunities as we age in our homes and communities.

Our Mission: To promote access to quality health care, especially for those who are uninsured and underserved, and improve the health of everyone in Maine.

The Maine Community Foundation works with donors and other partners to improve the quality of life for all Maine people.

Investing in a healthy Maine. The Bingham Program is a charitable endowment at Tufts Medical Center established in 1932 to promote health and advance medicine in Maine.

The Betterment Fund was created for charitable purposes by the will of the late William Bingham, 2nd, a resident of Bethel, Maine, who died in 1955. 

Our Mission: To improve the health and reduce the burden of illness for the people of New Hampshire – especially the vulnerable and underserved.

The Elmina B. Sewall Foundation supports work in Maine to improve the well-being of people, animals and the environment while fostering relationships that strive for social equity and community resilience.
