ABOUT OUR SERVICES
The Maine Center for Elder Law is a practice of Perkins Thompson, P.A. The Center assists clients with Medicaid (MaineCare) Planning, Special Needs Planning, Estate Planning, and Probate, Estate & Trust Administration matters in York County, Cumberland County and nearby Maine counties.
Attorneys Barbara S. Schlichtman and Mark A. Woronoff, together with the Center’s office staff, are dedicated to helping:
Older Adults and their Families – by assisting in elder law, including long-term-care and Medicaid (MaineCare) “pre-planning” and crisis MaineCare Planning, preparation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance health care directives, estate administration, and conservatorships and guardianships;
Individuals and Families – by developing and implementing estate plans through personalized design, assistance in funding trusts, periodic plan updates, and administration and settlement of trusts and estates; and
Special Needs Planning – by planning for the future of a loved one with a disability through estate planning or when there is a legal settlement.
