There’s never been a more important time to put our ingenuity and know-how to good use.  In order for us all to be able to live healthy, engaged lives in our homes and communities, we need to create some new solutions, align systems, and integrate service delivery.  MCOA is leading this effort! More than 140 organizations and individuals have joined together to do this work.  Please join us!

Mainers agree that we want to be able to live active, engaged and secure lives as we age in our homes and in community settings.  However, our existing systems of housing, transportation and care are not aligned with this goal.  The MCOA was created because we see opportunities to change this reality.  We see opportunities to grow a care workforce that is valued in every way for the work they perform, to imagine and implement housing and transportation solutions that will make our state stronger, to build dynamic communities that work for a lifetime, and to design a fully integrated and aligned system of care that can provide the right care at the right time in the right setting.  We need your support and participation to carry out this important work. Please join the MCOA today!

Your membership entitles you and members of your staff to:

  • Access a vibrant member network that shares information and partners to advance healthy aging
  • Shape aging policy in Maine
  • Participate in membership educational offerings, networking meetings, and our annual dinner
  • Regularly receive information about legislative initiatives and updates through our newsletter and emails
  • Receive advocacy support for issues of mutual concern
  • Receive member discounts on vendor opportunities at our events like our annual Summit
  • Access to experts who can assistance with issues impacting your work related to the age-positive movement
